About George Kessler D.O., P.C.
Dr. George Kessler is a graduate of Long Island University where he was given “the most diversified student award”. He went to medical school at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine of Kirksville University. Dr. Kessler completed an internship where he won the intern of the year and went on to complete a 6 year family medicine residency and was board certified in 1981. He is an attending physician at the New York Presbyterian hospital, a member of the faculty of Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University. He is a consulting physician at the Hospital for Special Surgery in NY City.
Dr. Kessler has taught freshman students from Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University continuously from 1993 until 2020.
Dr Kessler has published non fiction books for the general public as well as academic writings.
He has been listed as top doctor in New York and Who’s Who in America for many consecutive years up to and including 2022. He has been awarded the “ excellence in teaching award “ by Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University and mentor of the year from the American Osteopathic Association.
With all of this said Dr. Kessler thinks his greatest achievement is ability to listen to and address patients issues.
